History
At Dulk Haasnoot Seafood everything revolves around craftsmanship, trust and a passion for fish. Our roots are deeply embedded in the Dutch herring tradition. Since 1871, our company has been working with quality herring, starting with Jac. den Dulk & Zn. in the harbour of Scheveningen. More than eighty years later, Haasnoot Vis was founded in Katwijk, becoming a trusted name in the fish trade in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
In 2022 these two companies joined forces under one name: Dulk Haasnoot Seafood. The many years of experience in fish processing and sales, combined with a continuous drive for innovation and customer focus, form the foundation of our company.

Responsibility is part of our DNA and the way we operate. We follow a sustainable purchasing policy and carefully assess every step in the chain, from the fishing method to the treatment of employees.
This ensures that we only purchase fish from legal, regulated fisheries and that everyone involved is rewarded fairly. As a result, we deliver a reliable and honest product.
Because we are part of Cornelis Vrolijk, we align with the six focus areas of the entire group: biodiversity, healthy food, emissions, care for people, circularity and supply chain responsibility. Within Dulk Haasnoot we translate this focus into our daily work. In doing so, we contribute not only to people’s health, but also to a healthy fishing sector now and in the future.
