Craftsmanship in every step
With decades of experience in herring processing, we know that the “raw material” is extremely important for processors. Based on the specifications of our customers, we supply a processed herring product that best suits their processing method. Nature, fishing grounds and supply volumes are monitored daily. To follow and assess this ourselves, we are regularly present at various locations in Scandinavia.
Through frequent and long-term testing at the landing sites where herring is brought ashore, we have developed deep knowledge that allows us to even freeze the most delicate herring fillets after marination. This enables efficient transport and storage of the products. It is also possible to deliver the pickled herring fresh in barrels. In addition, we supply unprocessed herring semi-finished products (frozen – unpickled).
An assortment full of possibilities
Our assortment is versatile. Pickled variants (sweetened or unsweetened), sometimes frozen in brine. Whether for the production of herring salads, pickled herring or smoking, we can offer the right semi-finished product for every process, flavour profile or application.
